If you’re walking along the bike path near Bluff Park or near Cal State Long Beach in Los Altos, there’s a good chance you’ll find Dave riding his bike, jogging or walking. He’s always taking advantage of the great weather and serene settings in Long Beach. 
 
Although Dave enjoys all the great things that Southern California has to offer, he truly enjoys the diverse communities, rich heritage, many events and most importantly, the people.
 

Passion for People

Having grown up in a small town outside of Buffalo, New York, Dave always relished the opportunity to meet new people.

After graduating college, Dave put everything he owned in a duffle bag, and drove out with a friend to the place where he would eventually call home – Long Beach.
 

Long Beach is the Perfect Setting

Having such varied interests, Dave finds Long Beach as the ideal place to live for many reasons. First, it seems to be the ‘hidden gem’ of Southern California. It has all the hustle and bustle of a city and the serenity of a small town. Many great neighborhoods and parks blanket the Long Beach area in addition to being centrally located between Los Angeles and Orange Counties with San Diego right down the road.

Rob Gillon has been in the mortgage banking industry for the past 30 years and has worked with several mortgage banking firms. After developing great relationships with many realtors, Rob was introduced to the builder loan business where he specialized in tracts of newly constructed homes. As a direct lender and broker Rob became expert at the delivery of all different types of loan products.

Throughout his career he learned the art of relationship development as it related to transacting mortgage closings for both his agents and the borrowers themselves. When he opened his own mortgage brokerage, at the urging of his wife, in 1999 he created the tagline of “Relationship Lending” for his company Armour Home Mortgage. At that time Rob left the arena of builder mortgage loans to focus again on the development of his realtor business. Expanding his business into almost all counties of Southern California the business flourished based on the relationship approach to his business.

As the requirements of the market changed, and the need for deep control of the transactions became more necessary, Rob decided to join New American Funding in 2011. New American funding offers the control that the realtor community demands as a DIRECT LENDER. With the capacity of New American Funding behind him, along with his sincere selling approach, the marriage of company and top producer cannot fail! Even after 30 years in the mortgage industry Rob still thoroughly enjoys each and every transaction and working with buyers ranging from first time home buyers to even the most experienced real estate investors.

Known for his intensity and passion in representing his borrowers, Rob draws upon his competitive nature from his days as a championship caliber baseball player. Rob obtained his real estate salesperson license when he was 18 years old and then received his degree in Economics from Chapman University.
